Restaurant Marketing COACH

Content coaching for restaurant owners who are doing everything.

"I COACH BECAUSE I WANT TO SEE YOUR BUSINESS THRIVE, NOT THE MARKETING COMPANIES."

You're NOT behind. You’re NOT “bad at marketing.”You’re busy running a business.

Between labor, food cost, vendors, service, and putting out fires
—posting consistently can feel impossible. My coaching is designed to reduce stress, not add to it.
I start where you are and build a system you can actually maintain.

Phone-friendly • Team-trainable • No fancy gear needed • No judgment—just progress

3 QUICK BENEFITS

  • Clear plan (no guesswork)

  • A workflow your team can follow

  • Noticeable improvement fast

If content feels like one more job on top of 50, you’re not alone.
I coach owners and managers to build a simple, repeatable photo + short-video workflow that fits real restaurant life—so your food looks incredible online and your business gets the attention it deserves.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

I coach independent restaurant owners and teams to create high-performing content in-house—consistently and confidently.
Instead of “done-for-you” marketing, I teach you how to tell your story with the tools you already have, so content doesn’t depend on outside creators, big retainers, or the “when we have time” trap.

"You don’t need perfection.
You need a repeatable process.
"

What My Coaching Builds

Through hands-on training, feedback, and simple systems, you’ll master the 8 elements of content creation:

  • Vision / Why – clarify what your restaurant stands for

  • Message – say what matters in one clear line

  • Story – turn everyday moments into compelling content

  • Planning – shot lists + workflows that save time

  • Tools – "What's Available?" setup that fits your operation

  • Technique – lighting, angles, movement, food appeal

  • Editing – fast, repeatable edits that look professional

  • Habit – routines + accountability to stay consistent

WHO is TATSU?

I’ve been a professional photographer for decades, and for the past eight years I’ve specialized in food photography.
I grew up in Japan in a family that ran restaurants. Our businesses had their ups and downs, and in the end they didn’t survive. Looking back, I see ways I could have supported them better—and looking forward, I know the skills I’ve built as a food photographer and restaurant business development consultant can make a real difference for today’s small restaurant owners.
To me, this coaching work is more than a career; it’s a pursuit of my life purpose.
Over the course of my food photography career, I’ve been fortunate to work with roughly 800 restaurants (and counting). I’ve also supported several restaurant concepts as a business development consultant. Working closely with independent operators, I’ve seen the same challenge again and again: so many restaurants have incredible potential and a unique voice, but they don’t have the tools—or the time—to tell their story. Even when they want to, marketing gets pushed to the back burner because owners have to wear so many hats every day, and high retainers from agencies, UGC creators, and influencers can feel out of reach. My mission is to help small restaurants tell their story with clarity and confidence—using practical, sustainable tools that actually fit real life behind the counter.
